Oak Brook, IL – May 8, 2013 – Enterprise Recovery Systems, Inc. (“ERS”) will be participating in the 2nd Annual Pink 5K hosted by the Oak Brook Park District on Saturday, May 11th. The 5k will be a chip timed race through the scenic pathways of the Oak Brook Park District. This year’s event will benefit Open Arms-Hinsdale Hospital Foundation’s Breast Cancer Outreach Fund. The foundation will utilize the donation it receives from the Pink 5K for their 40-40-40 program in October, which will provide 40 free mammograms for 40 women over 40 years of age. Team ERS will participate in the 5K in support of the Open Arms-Hinsdale Hospital Foundation’s mission.

In addition to participation in the Pink 5K, ERS staff spent the month of April wearing jeans to support the cause. Employees were asked to make charitable contributions to wear jeans to work (rather than observing the “business casual” dress code that is enforced Monday through Thursday) to be matched by ERS and donated to the Open Arms Foundation.

The Pink 5k Fundraising Campaign was a great success and Team ERS is looking forward to race day on May 11th.

MOM’s was started by Deborah Trippiedi who in 2002 sent her son a care package filled with homemade cookies. Debbie’s heart would break when her son would tell her how many of his fellow soldiers did not receive the same care and support from home. Debbie recruited her church group and together they started baking and shipping overseas. Today, over 10,000 boxes are shipped a year filled with baked goods and toiletries.
MOM’s mission is “to promote patriotism, community activism and encourage the human spirit while sustaining and uplifting the morale of all deployed service members of the U.S. Armed Forces. Through our innovative Illinois based Organization, we Salute and Support all who defend our Nation’s Freedom…bringing a smile while making a difference to all we can reach, PAST, PRESENT and FUTURE!”
ERS is contributing to this wonderful charity by contributing to MOM’S Christmas shipment fund. All money collected will be used to aid in shipping costs for MOM’S holiday boxes. We have asked our employees to continue any and all contributions throughout the month of December, in an effort to further aid MOM’S Christmas shipment fund, sending as many boxes as we can. ERS prides ourselves in supporting our own. We are home to many blue star families, vets, and active military.

Oak Brook, IL. –September 5, 2012—Enterprise Recovery Systems, INC. (“ERS”) started collecting charitable donations for the American Red Cross in their response to Hurricane Isaac. As of this morning, the American Red Cross continues an immense disaster response effort that could last for weeks across multiple states, as damage from Hurricane Isaac affects thousands in Louisiana, Mississippi, and throughout the Gulf Coast. Power restoration operations continue, with nearly 130,000 people still lacking power in Louisiana and nearly 5,000 in Mississippi.

Key Impacts, such as the recent Labor Day Weekend and political conventions, have resulted in a major decrease of media attention, further resulting in a lack of public and donor awareness of the scope and the need.
